Summer camp is on!

Camp of Champions is going off right now which means its summer snowboarding time!

Last week kicked off the glacier riding season at Whistler and it was a good one. I'm going to put up a shot from each session on the newest Summer Snowboard Shot Sundays (S4)!



I managed to score one of the best jobs at camp. I'm supervising/security at the compound, where the kids hang out after their day on the hill, skateboarding, playing games and doing whatever they can to get product. Good times :)

15th Annual Showcase Showdown

The longest running snowboard competition in Canada went down last weekend. The Showcase Showdown returned to the Whistler base this year and it was awesome!
I would say its the best course since it was a pipestyle contest in 2008. Shout out goes to Brad Broughton for making the whole thing come together.

Everyone was throwing down despite tough conditions. Once it started snowing it was really hard to clear the jump. We were dropping in way above the course, getting 'bro tows' in and then speed tucking the entire way to the jump in the finals. Congrats to Molly Molligan for placing 2nd. As for me, after falling on my first 2 runs I landed my 3rd and final run clean which was good enough for 6th place.
